Level 1 Stage 2 will build on what you have learnt in stage 1 as well as introducing you to some important concepts within our Internal Wing Chun training. New strikes and techniques will also be added to your Wing Chun arsenal.

Introduction

Low Heel Kick and Snap Kick
The first two kicks you will learn in the Wing Chun system. The low heel kick is designed to attack the opponents knee, and is a foundational kick of Wing Chun. The snap kick is a very effective groin kick for self defence.

Pak Sau and Centreline Theory
Also known as a parry, the Pak Sau is designed to break the opponent's guard, or punch, and create a straight path down the centreline for the punch.We will also use the Pak Sau and Punch technique to help understand the universal Wing Chun Centreline Theory.

Order of Powers and Shoulder Power
You will be introduced to the "Orders of Power" with a focus on the important understanding of "Shoulder Power".

Jum Sau

Low Heel Kick and Snap Kick – Revision
Revision of the Low Heel Kick and Snap Kick exercises.

Side Kick

Pak Sau and Punch – Revision
Revision of the Pak Sau and Punch, also known as the Parry and Punch.

Order of Powers and Shoulder Power – Revision
Revision of the Order of Powers and Shoulder Power.

Double Palm Strike

Jum Sau – Revision
Revision of the Jum Sau technique.

Side Kick – Revision
Revision of the Wing Chun Side Kick.

Completion of Level 1 – Stage 2
